This is my very first, ever  blog.  I know, welcome to the twenty-first century!  Over the years I  have written or contributed to  about twenty books and most of them I wrote out longhand. Then I would have someone type what I had written. I think I am addicted to modernity. Now I either type or use voice activated software on the computer. So I am slowly progressing.

I have done some research on the subject of blogging. Most bloggers write at least twice week and some every day. Do they not have a job? I forgot, I don’t have a job. So don’t expect  a daily blog. I checked the blog of AJ Jacobs,, who influenced me to try and live like Jesus for a year. He wanted to write a yearly blog so he could be the least published of all the bloggers. Maybe I will just write one blog for the rest of my life. Not really. I intend to write on a regular basis about the year of living like Jesus and my ongoing journey with ALS. So I guess you should welcome me to the blogasphere-whatever that is!
